Borland Software Corporation and First Degree Systems Ltd have teamed up to bring you BuilderBooster™ Personal for C++ Builder 2006 which is available FREE to all Borland Developer Studio 2006 users.

Unfortunately the BuilderBooster V1.0.0.4 contained many problems with stabilty and in some case wouldn't work at all. First Degree Systems Ltd have spent a great deal of time issolating and rectifying this problem in BuilderBooster V1.1. BuilderBooster™ Editions

'BuilderBooster Personal for C++ Builder 2006' is based on our Personal edition and only works with C++ Builder 2006. The BuilderBooster range is available for C++ Builder 4, 5, 6 & 2006 and comes in 3 editions:-

BuilderBooster Personal
This edition of BuilderBooster is suitable for single machine/single processor compilation. This version of BuilderBooster normally halves compile times using the following features:-

• Single core and single processor support.
• Header, source and pre-compiled header file caching to reduce compile times.

BuilderBooster Standard
This edition is suitable for developers in a single machine environment who want to take advantage of the speed enhancements gained from multi-threaded and background compilation. This edition of BuilderBooster can be up to 10 times faster at compiling than C++ Builder and builds upon the Personal edition by adding the following enhancements:-

• Dual core and dual processor support.
• Object, Delphi compiled unit, and lib file caching to reduce build times.
• Optimisations producing faster compilations.
• Multi-threaded compilation taking advantage of multi-threading and Multi-processor machines.
• Pre-compiled header injection can vastly reduce compilation times by injecting an auto-generated pre-compiled header file into your source at compilation time.
• Build-Events take control of your builds by writing pascal scripts to control what happens to your source before and after it is compiled.
• ActiveCompile builds any out-of-date files automatically in the background while you continue editing your source code.
• Build & Backup automatically archives your successful builds into unique time-stamped project containing every dependency required by your build.
• BBMake replaces Borland's Make to provide a command-line tool which enables you to build your C++ Builder projects using BuilderBooster's advanced technology. Included is a dedicated action plug-in for the third-party FinalBuilder application.

BuilderBooster Professional
This edition of BuilderBooster is suitable for heavy duty users who require even faster compilations of single or multiple projects.

BuilderBooster Professional can be to be up to 100 times faster at compiling than C++ Builder and contains all the features present in BuilderBooster Standard plus the ability to parallel compile multiple projects/project groups using advance optimisation techniques either on a single machine or multiple machines on your network. The Professional edition has the following enhancements:-

• Quad core and multiple processor support.
• Advanced optimisations reducing build times by up to 25% compared to that of the Standard version.
• Multiple Project/Project Group support for BBMake.
