RemoteBoost™ is a feature available in BuilderBooster™ Professional and can reduce compile times for large projects to negligible levels times by using other computers on the network to help compile projects. NOTE: You must be licensed to use C++ Builder® on remote machines to be able to use RemoteBoost™.
RemoteBoost™ works in conjunction with HyperMake™ by distributing the files via the network to machines that are free to compile. RemoteBoost™ always gives any local compilation priority so if a machines owner wishes to build their own project then they are not slowed down by others building on their machine.
RemoteBoost™ is ideally suited to a team of developers who all have BuilderBooster™ Professional. This makes setup trivial as the only configuration required on each computer is who can remotely use the computer and which computers this installation should attempt to use remotely.
RemoteBoost™ can also be used in a client/server configuration allowing companies with large development teams to setup a bank of machines all dedicated to compiling. This allows developers to keep their existing lower specification machines but still get the best compile times possible.
RemoteBoost™ has several intelligent features such as intelligent file mapping where header files from the standard libraries can be used directly from the local machine rather than across the network thus minimising network traffic and overhead.
RemoteBoost™ contains optional compression and encryption mechanisms so that network traffic is minimised and of course secure from eavesdropping.
